U-1/2 FESTO Pneumatic Silencer(2310)
The FESTO U-1/2 (Part No. 2310) is a high-flow pneumatic exhaust silencer designed to reduce noise emissions and prevent particulate contamination at the exhaust ports of valves, cylinders, and air tools in industrial automation systems. Operating at pressures from 0 to 10 bar (0 to 145 PSI), this lightweight silencer attenuates harsh exhaust blast noise down to safe operational levels (~80–82 dB) while maintaining an exceptionally high flow capacity of up to 10,600 L/min to prevent backpressure buildup.
As shown in image_7d723a.jpg, the unit features a durable black plastic cage guard housing a high-efficiency porous polyethylene (PE) insert filter, topped with a blue end cap distinctly embossed with FESTO, model U-1/4, and part number 2310. The male G 1/2" (BSPP) threaded connection allows quick and easy installation directly into standard exhaust ports in any mounting orientation.
