IL100-F03 SMC Instrumentation Pneumatic Booster Relay
The SMC IL100-F03 is an industrial-grade instrumentation pneumatic booster relay designed to accelerate actuation speeds within large-capacity fluid systems. This specialty amplifier valve is primarily deployed when the physical piping distance between control instrumentation (such as a positioner) and the final actuator is exceptionally long, or when handling large-volume actuator chambers that demand fast filling and exhausting cycles.
As shown in image_cc3243.jpg, the device features a robust stacked modular configuration held together by heavy-duty assembly bolts. Operating on a 1:1 pressure ratio, it takes a low-volume air pressure signal from control instruments and instantly reproduces it into a high-volume output utilizing direct supply line air. The model features standard G 3/8" connection threads (indicated by the "F03" code) and comes factory-set with a built-in stabilization needle throttle valve to prevent system hunting and optimize closed-loop control stability.
