This model features a "G" Spool configuration, which is a 3-position, 4-way setup. In its neutral (center) position, the pressure port (P) and tank port (T) are connected, while the actuator ports (A and B) are blocked. This "Pump Unloading" design allows hydraulic fluid to circulate back to the reservoir at low pressure when the valve is idle, significantly reducing heat generation and energy consumption while keeping the cylinder or motor securely locked in place.
