FD113-ZU Emerson Differential Pressure Safety Control Switch 1/4"
The Emerson FD113-ZU (PCN: 3465300) is a high-reliability differential pressure safety switch engineered to protect pressure-lubricated refrigeration compressors from catastrophic failures caused by low oil pressure. Working on positive displacement oil pumps, this safety device measures the critical net oil pressure by calculating the difference between the oil pump outlet pressure and the compressor's internal crankcase pressure.
Featuring a built-in adjustable electronic time delay that operates across a universal 24 to 240V AC/DC supply, the FD113-ZU allows the compressor to safely establish proper oil circulation upon startup. If the net oil pressure falls below the safe threshold during operation, the timer activates. If pressure does not recover to safe levels within the set time window, the device triggers a manual reset switch, shutting down the compressor contactor and activating an alarm circuit to alert operators before severe mechanical damage occurs.
