The Omron E3Z-D81 2M (E3Z-D81 2M) is a compact, high-performance diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor with a built-in amplifier. Featuring a 100 mm sensing distance and PNP open-collector output, this square-type sensor provides reliable detection with a 1 ms response time. Designed for industrial environments, it offers IP67 protection, high noise immunity, and precise, stable detection.

- Sensing method: Diffuse-reflective, meaning it detects an object when it reflects the sensor's infrared light back to the receiver.
- Detection range: 5 to 100 mm.
- Light source: Infrared LED with a wavelength of 860 nm.
- Output type: PNP open collector.
- Output switching: Can be set to either Light-ON (output active when light is detected) or Dark-ON (output active when no light is detected).
- Power supply: 12 to 24 VDC.
- Electrical connection: Pre-wired with a 2-meter cable. Other cable lengths (such as 5M, 0.5M, and 0.3M with connectors) are available under different part numbers.
