D-A93L SMC Magnetic Reed Auto-Switch Sensor
The SMC D-A93L is a commercial-grade, direct-mount magnetic reed auto-switch designed to track and provide feedback on the real-time position of pneumatic cylinder piston rods. Actuated automatically by a permanent magnetic strip mounted inside the internal cylinder piston, this dual-wire sensor closes its internal electrical contact mechanical circuit as the magnetic field shifts directly beneath its mounting pocket.
Equipped with a horizontal, in-line electrical entry configuration, this model features an extended 3-meter oil-resistant heavy-duty vinyl lead wire (designated by the "L" suffix in the part reference) for versatile routing across extended machinery panels without the need for splicing. The housing also features an integrated red LED operational indicator lamp that illuminates whenever the contact switch is closed, allowing for quick hardware alignment verification and field troubleshooting.
