The Siemens 3NE1230-0 is a high-capacity, industrial-grade SITOR® semiconductor protection fuse link built to safeguard heavy-duty power electronics. Engineered as an LV HRC (Low Voltage High Rupture Capacity) knife-blade type fuse matching standard NH1 sizing, it belongs to the advanced gS operating class. This dual-purpose classification means it handles both ultra-fast semiconductor protection (protecting thyristors, rectifiers, and converters) as well as full-range line cable protection. Featuring solid tin-plated blade contacts, a robust ceramic structural body, and an integrated front status indicator, this high-rupture fuse cleanly mitigates extreme short circuits up to 100 kA without system stress propagation.
